# Transaction status codes

| Status    | Reason                                               |
| --------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| PENDING   | A payment that is waiting to be processed            |
| FAILED    | A payment that has failed                            |
| COMPLETED | A payment that was processed successfully            |
| CANCELLED | A payment that was canceled by the merchant customer |
